Responsibilities

Required skills in industrial / commercial roofing.  General knowledge in single-ply membrane, EPDM, built up roofing, modified bitumen, roof related metals and standing seam/metal panel roofing systems.  Understanding the importance of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.  Must be self-motivated, with a positive attitude with ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the customers.

General Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Service Technician Must be able to

  • Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, and inter-office personnel, etc.
  • Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places
  • Must be available to travel.
  • There may be additional duties and responsibilities required.

Requirements:

  • Experienced on commercial roof systems as described above (or be willing to learn and be trained)
  • Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs
  • Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written
  • Ideal candidate would have single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up, roof related sheet metal and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems experience.
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s License
  • Pass Drug Screen and Background Checks
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Must have personal tools for the trade

Qualifications

Required experience:

  • Commercial Roofing Experience Necessary:
    • 5-year minimum for Tech 1 position or Tech Foreman
    • 1-year minimum in the construction industry (roofing preferred)
    • General construction experience in safety
  •  

Job Type: Full-time

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Misc. Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Transportation to/from main office on a daily basis
  • Ability to travel out of town for short periods of time
