    We consider this role a critical part of the accounting team.  The accounts payable manger works with the rest of the accounting team and with business managers and leaders.  The firm is in transition from a medium to large sized business. It is an exciting environment.

    • This role requires an impact player. Our accounts payable manager works directly with our operations team and has a meaningful impact on the company.

    • Accounts Payable (approximately 30 hours) – lead the AP team in processing invoices, cut checks, review subcontractor packets, ensure W-9 verification, complete credit applications, track certificate of insurance information.
    • Reporting (approximately 5 hours) Produce daily cash report, file monthly state taxes, prepare/assist with business tax renewals and annual reports, assist with monthly financial close and reporting.
    • Corporate Accounting Tasks (approximately 5 hours) – Complete ownership of Fleet Management, Fixed Assets, and Per Diem. Assist with third-party audits.
    • Other Duties as assigned – expected to be a team player, providing support/backup for other functions in the department. Lead the transition of our AP process into our new ERP system.



    • BA/BS Degree in Accounting preferred
    • Well versed in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
    • Experience with Viewpoint Accountings Software a plus
    • Outstanding written, verbal, and analytical skills
    • Able to produce very accurate work



    This position offers a salary range of $60,000 – $70,000, depending on experience and Profit Sharing Plan known as Ownership Thinking, which is paid every time BluSky earns a Net Income of $250,000.
