    The Vice President of Sales is a Significant Sales Leader reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer tasked with leading the achievement of sales growth for their offices and is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet BluSky Restoration objectives. This position is also responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will be promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales Team Management

    • Guide the Sales Team (Business Development Managers and Project Directors) in building appropriate Target Lists per position
    • Achieve overall Sales Team Sales activity metrics goals and manage sales activity quality
    • Oversee Sales Team in acquiring new customers
    • Manage Near-Team Leads (Pipeline) report through our CRM program weekly
    • Achieve sales goals for combined assigned office portfolio
    • Assist in point-of-sale meetings and opportunities to close business

     

    Account Management

    • Work alongside Sales Team in customer and prospect growth meetings
    • Work with Sales Team in securing and growing Strategic Accounts
    • Work with Business Development Team in growing First-Aid Account numbers and base

     

    Training

    • Lead the on-boarding new Sales Team members
    • Conduct regular office visits for selling, mentoring and training sales team members
    • Conduct ride-along opportunities (Coaching/Mentoring) with Sales Team regularly
    • Assist in planning and executing Sales Retreat agendas

     

    Senior Leadership Team Responsibilities

    • Participate in weekly Senior Leadership Team calls and meetings
    • Participate in Quarterly Reviews and reporting for Sales Team
    • Lead recruiting/interviewing activities for open Sales Team positions in region
    • Engage is Marketing Department opportunities- regional and national tradeshows, marketing content contributions, etc.
    • Participate in national Senior Leadership Team meetings as organized

     

     

     

     

    WORK RELATIONSHIPS

    The Vice President of Sales will work with Vice President’s and Branch Manager’s in establishing and achieving sales goals and initiatives. Business Development Managers and Project Directors will indirectly report to the Vice President of Sales.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership/management
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales/marketing (at least 3 years of experience within the construction industry preferred)
    • Decision making, negotiation, problem solving and delegation skills required
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
    • Strong MS Office Suite product knowledge required
    • Experience inputting and tracking sales related data into a CRM system
    • An outgoing, driven, tenacious, team oriented attitude is a must!

     

     

    COMPENSATION

    This position offers a competitive base salary, a bonus plan based on metrics/goals conversion, and a Profit Sharing Plan known as Ownership Thinking.
